Concord Green Projects trades in tropical fruits from Kerala region in India, Due to our geographical location and tie up with strategic partners we are able to provide the best price and quality available in the Indian market. We procure most of our agriculture produces directly from farms. Our network with local farmers allows us to avoid middle man and thus improve on our price and quality of products. Being a cultivator ourselves we have all the required knowledge of the produces which we deal in and personally verify the quality of the produces. We have also partnered with food processing units capable of processing such as fruits as per the requirement of our clients. Following are the fruits which we can readily supply to our clients globally.

Jackfruit

We can supply jack fruit as whole fruit or in processed form as chips (frozen or dried), pickles, jam, jackfruit flour, seed powder or as meat chunks as per client requirement.

Pineapple

Pineapple (Ananas comosus) is in the bromeliad family, which has about 45 genera and 2000 species. Pineapple is by far the most economically important bromeliad and is the only one grown commercially. The fruit is having a pleasant aroma, have a slightly conical shape. Pineapple is a tropical fruit having exceptional juiciness, vibrant tropical flavor and immense health benefits.

Pineapple contains considerable calcium, potassium, fiber, and vitamin C. It is low in fat and cholesterol. Pineapple is a digestive aid and a natural Anti-Inflammatory fruit. Pineapple can be exported to our clients abroad in various forms such as pineapple chunks, slices, juices, syrups, jams, crushed pineapple, diced pineapple or as whole fruit.Two varieties of pineapple – Mauritius and Kew are commercially available in Kerala.

Coconut

The coconut tree (Cocos nucifera) is a member of the palm tree family and the only living species of the genus Cocos. The term “coconut” can refer to the whole coconut palm, the seed, or the fruit, which botanically is a drupe, not a nut. It is one of the most useful trees in the world, and is often referred to as the “tree of life”. It provides food, fuel, cosmetics, folk medicine and building materials, are among many other uses. Coconuts from India are of great demand globally.

We purchase coconuts from well maintained farms in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. These coconuts undergo multi-levels of sorting prior being packed for export. We can supply coconut in any quantity from India. Coconuts are supplied in fully husked/Tufted/Semi husked form as required by the client and packed in bags of 25 pcs each.

Pomegranate

Red-purple in color, the pomegranate is a high value fruit and its entire tree is of great economic importance that grows between 5 and 10 m tall. Botanically, the edible fruit is a berry with seeds and pulp produced from the ovary of a single flower. Pomegranate Juice, Pomegranate Arils, Pomegranate Powder & Pomegranate Seed Oil are the major by-products from pomegranate.

All parts of pomegranate tree have great therapeutic value and are used in leather and dying industry. The calorific value of the pomegranate fruit is 65. Its juice is easily digestible and contains about 15 percent invert sugar. It is a rich source of sodium and also contains a good amount of riboflavin, thiamin, niacin, Vitamin C, calcium and phosphorous. We collect best quality pomegranate directly from farms in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. We can supply large quantities as per requirement.

Passion Fruit

The Passionfruit is a small, spherical fruit. It is purple when ripe, and green when not ripe. The fruit contains many small, black seeds covered with the fruit’s flesh. Passion fruit is known for its pleasantly sour taste and tart flavor. Passion fruit is so versatile that you can eat the pulp and seeds, juice it, or add them to other shakes and juices. It is rich in vitamin A, which aids the immune system, vision, and skin. The fruit is also rich in vitamin C which is an important antioxidant, that help your body get rid of harmful free radicals. Passion fruit is one of the few tropical fruits that have a low glycemic index value which helps in maintaining blood glucose levels. It’s a rich source of dietary fiber and is said to improve an individual’s insulin sensitivity. In short, Passion fruit comes with a surplus amount of health benefits.

Papaya

Carica papaya, the widely cultivated papaya is a tropical fruit plant. The fruit is a large berry that is generally spherical or cylinder in form and about 15–45 cm long and 10–30 cm in diameter. Papaya contains a chemical called papain, which is commonly used as a meat tenderizer. A cup of papaya when had on an empty stomach is known to clear the digestive tract of toxins and smoothen the bowel movement due to the presence of digestive enzymes. The presence of vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants, and fibre in papaya helps keep the arteries healthy which promotes blood flow. The nutrients in papaya including lutein, zeaxanthin, and vitamin E are believed to be good for the eyes and for the prevention of age-related macular degeneration. Being one of the primary sources of vitamin C, it contains carotenoids like beta-carotene and lycopene which when added together, do wonders for the skin.

India is the largest producer of papayas in the world with an annual output of about 3 million tonnes. We competitively deal with varieties like Coorg Honey Dew, Coorg Green, Pusa Delicious & Pusa Nanha.

Mango

Mangoes belong to genus Mangifera which consists of about 30 species of tropical fruiting trees in the flowering plant family Anacardiaceae. It is native tropical Asia and has been cultivated in the Indian subcontinent for over 4000 years and is now found naturalized in most tropical countries. Mangiferin, being a polyphenolic antioxidant and a glucosylxanthone, it has strong antioxidant, anti lipid peroxidation, immunomodulation, cardiotonic, hypotensive, wound healing, antidegenerative and antidiabetic activities. Ripe mango fruit is considered to be invigorating and freshening. The juice is restorative tonic and used in heat stroke. The seeds are used in asthma and as an astringent. A 2014 study from Japan found that carotenoid-containing fruits and vegetables such as mangoes may reduce the risk of colon cancer. The fiber, potassium, and vitamin content in mangoes all help keep the arteries working and reduce the risk of heart disease.Fumes from the burning leaves are inhaled for relief from hiccups and affections of the throat. While, Alphonso – Ratnagiri is the most expensive variety of mango in India, there are others like Badami, Chaunsa, Langra, Dasheri, Kesar, Mulgoba, Himsagar, Benishan Mango, Himayat are also famous varieties in India.
